How do we work out the price?
Everything is $100 per cubic metre, and the number we give you before the job is the number on the invoice. The Ballina tip works the other way. Every vehicle rolls over a weighbridge and household waste is charged at $34.60 per 100 kilograms, so a DIY run is only priced after the fact. We quote before it.

Where do your things actually end up?
As much as possible goes back into circulation before anything gets weighed at the tip. Ballina has more than 15 op shops and an official Op Shop Trail, Lifeline at 212 River Street collects furniture and bulk donations, and Vinnies is at 7 Martin Street. Only what nobody can use gets tipped.
What does go to the Ballina Resource Recovery Centre on Southern Cross Drive is sorted so it lands in the right stream. E-waste and scrap metal are recycled free there, and the tip even runs its own second-hand outlet, the Salvage Shed.
How far do we come?
The whole Ballina Shire. The town centre sits on an island at the mouth of the Richmond River, and we cross Missingham Bridge to East Ballina, reach South Ballina over the Wardell bridge or the Burns Point Ferry, and run regular jobs to Lennox Head, Alstonville and Wardell.

Can you come today?
Often, yes. Same-day pickups happen when the run allows, and mornings give the best chance. We take requests any hour, so book whenever it suits and we will give you a straight answer on timing.
Which areas do you cover?
The whole Ballina Shire: Ballina itself, East and West Ballina, South Ballina, Lennox Head, Alstonville, Wardell and the surrounding country, including waterfront and canal-side homes off North Creek. One rate everywhere.
We are not there during the week. Can you still collect?
Yes. Unattended pickups from holiday homes and rentals are routine here. Leave access with a key safe, an agent or a neighbour, and we send photos of the cleared space when the truck leaves.
Where does it all end up?
Reusable furniture is offered to Lifeline and the op shops first. The rest goes over the weighbridge at the Ballina Resource Recovery Centre on Southern Cross Drive, sorted so garden waste, metal and e-waste land in their proper streams instead of landfill.
